After several enquiries, the camera rental shop has finally added the Canon R camera and lenses to its rental selection. Canon is the most popular camera brand in Finland, and we thought there would be a need for it in our rental operations. Although it's the most popular brand, its rental offering is perhaps the weakest when talking about major brands like Sony and Nikon.

We started with a narrow general selection, which we will improve and expand over time. We chose the frame Canon EOS R6 Mark II, offering it shines as a hybrid camera, providing high-quality still and video shooting capabilities. Autofocus rivals the best models, battery life is good, dual card slots and an excellent range of RF lenses make this an exceptional all-round camera.

The first two lenses for the rental selection are Canon RF 24-70mm f/2.8 L IS USM both Canon RF 70-200mm f/2.8 L IS USM. They are the cornerstones of professional photographers. New models have been updated in the RF era, especially in terms of size, and are now quite compact. With these two lenses, a photographer can capture almost any situation, which is why we thought they would be a good start to our selection.

New for rental equipment for the summer portrait season is the razor-sharp Canon RF 85mm f/1.2 L. This lens offers top-tier features for portrait photography.
