You can easily book the equipment directly from our online shop. Once the order has been placed, you can either:

Delivery to your home or a pick-up point by Posti.
The rental price is determined by the selected equipment and the rental period, and we also offer a quote for larger bookings or longer production projects if needed. Online invoicing is also possible for corporate clients.

Kameravuokraamo.fi delivers camera equipment throughout Finland by Posti. Order online and collect your equipment at your local post office or parcel locker. Collection is also available in Porvoo.
We do not deliver furniture abroad. We only deliver furniture within Finland. If you need camera equipment abroad, we recommend contacting local rental companies in your destination city.
Rental equipment can be collected 2 days before the rental period begins. Collection must always be agreed upon by email or telephone.
Ordered products will be posted two days before the rental period, allowing the product to be collected before the rental date. However, it is the customer's responsibility to ensure sufficient delivery time. We can post to Posti pick-up points and parcel lockers.
Our shop is located at Jokikatu 8, Porvoo. We are generally open from 10 am to 5 pm, including weekends. You will need to provide identification when renting, and payment is also possible on-site.
Yes. Appropriate flight permits and valid liability insurance are required for drone hire. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure they have the necessary permits before flying.
You can pay using all major credit cards, by bank transfer, or via the very affordable 0% instalment plan. For more details on payment methods, please visit the checkout page. E-invoicing is available for business customers; please enquire via email.
Rented equipment must be returned within 2 days of the rental period ending, normally by 4:00 PM. So, if you rent equipment for Wednesday, it must be returned to us before 4:00 PM on Friday. However, we are flexible in this regard and these arrangements can always be agreed upon separately.
Products delivered by post must be sent by 4 p.m. on the day following the end of the rental period.
We will not charge rent for days when the product is in transit with Matkahuolto or Posti.
Yes, you can. For example, you can rent a device just for Saturday. However, please take into account the time it takes for shipping the product. This means if you order the product on a Friday, it won't arrive by Saturday. However, collection can be arranged for any day.
As a general rule, it's advisable to rent the equipment in good time so that we can also post it to you promptly.
The rental can be extended if the equipment is not booked for the same time. You can contact us or make a new booking directly from our website.
If you wish, we can guide you through the basic functions of the device, please remember to mention this in advance!
Most equipment is insured for normal use in Finland. However, we recommend that the renter has their own insurance. The renter is responsible for a deductible of at least €500, depending on the value of the equipment (note! excluding drones, where the customer covers the full price). We do not take responsibility for liability insurance; the renter must have this themselves, for example, in drone operations. If the products are damaged, please remember to inform us immediately.
We aim to provide a new device to replace a broken one. If a replacement device is not available, or if we can only provide a cheaper device, the difference will be refunded to the customer.

Kameravuokraamo.fi General Rental Terms and Conditions for Filming Equipment
Scope of application
The terms and conditions of this agreement apply to the rental of photography, filming, and video recording equipment and accessories between Ilmavaltiaat Oy (hereinafter the Lessor) and the Lessee (hereinafter the Customer).
Contract
The rental agreement is binding and the customer cannot transfer the agreement or sublet the equipment to a third party without the written consent of the lessor. Non-invoicing customers will pay the rental amount in advance either on our website or by cash or card when collecting the equipment.
Landlord's right
The lessor reserves the right not to rent out the equipment without stating a reason.
Rental property
The leased item is a piece of equipment or machinery owned or controlled by the lessor, listed separately. The leased equipment may be used under normal operating conditions suitable for each piece of equipment and within the scope intended for each type of equipment. Connecting the equipment for continuous automatic operation, for example, is not normal use.
Renting
The lessor shall hand over the equipment to the customer in inspected and functional condition. Upon receiving the rented equipment, the customer must inspect the equipment and accept that the equipment is in proper working order and in the quantity as listed in the agreement. If the customer notices any defects in the functionality, condition, or accessories of the equipment, they must immediately notify the lessor. In the event of a fault, the lessor shall immediately take action to restore the equipment to working order.
Identity verification
The landlord has the right to check the customer's identity and credit information before renting. When collecting rental equipment, the customer must bring a photographic Finnish identity card from which the customer's identity can be verified. If you rent equipment by post, Ilmavaltiaat Oy has the right to request proof of identity.
Rent payment
Rental payments are made on the Kameravuokraamo.fi website. Due to calendar functionality, we are unable to accept other payment methods at this time. Online invoicing is possible for corporate clients, subject to separate agreement.
Rental period
The rental period is defined in the rental agreement and the rental prices are set out in the lessor's current price list. Any terms deviating from the price list must be agreed upon in writing. The collection and return of rental equipment must take place within the lessor's opening hours at the lessor's premises, or by post as agreed.
Landlord's responsibilities
The landlord is liable for the equipment up to the amount of the rental sum, and is not liable for damages caused to the customer by any potential equipment malfunction, defect or shortage.
The lessor assumes that the customer has a basic understanding of the normal and appropriate use of the equipment. The lessor will provide basic operational guidance upon the customer's request. For an additional fee, the lessor can arrange more extensive user training, which does not, however, extend the lessor's liability for the use of the equipment. The lessor is not liable for the use or suitability of the equipment, nor for any incompatibility with third-party hardware or software. The lessor guarantees that any software and storage devices are in working order at the time of rental, but is liable for any operational disruptions up to an amount equivalent to the rental fee. The customer is responsible for transferring and backing up any files, as well as for software compatibility.
Customer responsibilities
The customer undertakes to use the equipment professionally and with care.
The customer, i.e., the tenant, shall fully compensate for any equipment lost, destroyed, or stolen during the rental period by procuring an identical, equally conditioned replacement at the purchase price. For system cameras, timelapse photography requires separate agreement.
Breakages to equipment caused by damage or negligence during the rental period will be repaired at the customer's expense. The customer will replace any equipment lost, destroyed, or stolen during the rental period using their own insurance or by purchasing new items. Normal wear and tear of the equipment is not the customer's responsibility.
Only maintenance companies approved by the lessor may service the equipment. A criminal report must be filed immediately for stolen equipment.
The equipment is insured, but the customer primarily uses their own insurance when using the equipment and is fully responsible. The excess, depending on the equipment, is at least €500 or the value of the product.
Drone rental special conditions
- The customer undertakes that, at the time specified in the rental agreement and during the period before the return of the rented equipment, the customer will act as a drone operator and be registered in Traficom's drone operator register.
- By signing, the customer commits that the drone pilot(s) have completed the A1/A3 certificate and, if necessary, the A2 certificate.
- The rental customer assures that they have valid liability insurance for drone operations. The lessor is not responsible for the use of the drone or damages caused by it during the rental period.
- The renter undertakes to be responsible for all use of the drone and any damages caused by it during the rental period.
- Customers must provide proof of completed remote pilot certification and drone operator registration before rental.
- The lessor reserves the right not to rent out the equipment without stating a reason.
Broken devices in use
During the rental period, any breakages to equipment must be reported immediately to the landlord.
If the breakage is not due to damage or careless use, the lessor shall immediately take measures to replace or repair the equipment.
If the equipment requires maintenance at the lessor's expense, the equipment may only be repaired at a service centre approved by the lessor and with the lessor's consent.
Returning equipment
Equipment must be returned at the agreed time and within the lessor's opening hours. The equipment to be returned must be properly packed and in the same condition as when collected. Digital cameras and equipment should be set to the same settings before return.
Equipment condition will be checked upon return. Any late returns will be charged according to the price list daily rental fee without any discounts. Premature return of equipment does not obligate the lessor to any refunds. A police report will be filed for unreturned equipment if we cannot contact the customer or if the customer does not notify in advance.
Cancelled rental
Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the start of the hire period will incur a charge of 50% of the hire fee. If the lessor has procured products for the customer that are not included in the rental catalogue, cancellation fees will be charged based on at least the actual costs incurred by the lessor.
Breach of contract or customer bankruptcy
If the customer breaches the agreement or is declared bankrupt or insolvent, the lessor has the right to terminate the lease agreement and immediately repossess the equipment from the customer. Upon termination of the agreement, the lessor shall not be liable for damages.
Possible disagreements
Disputes shall be settled by the district court of the lessor's domicile. If the customer is a private individual, these terms do not diminish the rights granted to the customer by the Consumer Protection Act.
